| Solar oralizer | ||
The Solar oraliser is a self-powered sound generation system. It is comprised of a solar panel hooked up to an array of speakers via an electrical inversion system. The energy harnessed by the solar panel is converted in real time into a continuous audio tone, oralising the solar potential at any give moment. The pitch and volume correspond to fluctuations in light/dark attenuating from a low whistle at sun rise to high pitched scream during mid day.

This project consisted of ready made parts assembled in an odd way. A commercial generator was coupled to a microphone. The microphone picked up the exhaust noise, in turn this was amplified through a speaker that the generator powered. |
